Back-to-school
is the hardest time of the year for some kids. I want to remind all the
kids out there that YOU CAN BE A HERO TO SOMEONE JUST BY BEING THEIR
FRIEND. It just might be saving their life - literally.
Go find
someone eating lunch alone and ask them to join you, say something nice
to someone, even just a simple smile can sometimes make all the
difference.
The laws against cyber bullying
that I helped get passed in MD are a good start. What would be an even
better start would be if we could all follow a few basic rules of
HUMANITY instead.
BE KIND.
HELP OTHERS.
TREAT OTHERS THE WAY YOU WOULD WANT TO BE TREATED
